Delivery Specialist
Nature of Work:
Will load and unload vehicles/trucks and deliver equipment in full or partial loads working with dispatcher/delivery coordinator and delivery assistant. Must service customers in a polite, friendly and professional manner. May be required to assist customers with reservations, contracts, questions, register transactions and order adjustments if necessary. Working Conditions: May be exposed to the general range of weather experienced in the area, with the exception of several hours in the warehouse loading or unloading and drive time. Some work areas may not be heated or air conditioned and conditions outside which vary from day to day. This job requires constant interaction with co-workers and with the public. This position requires frequent lifting and a significant degree of walking, bending, stooping, crouching, lowering, reaching, twisting, pulling, pushing, carting, and transporting objects of various weights and dimensions. May possibly have exposure to chemicals, including but not limited to gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, kerosene and cleaning solvents. Some electrical equipment is delivered, although it is not a requirement to install or service the equipment. If lighting is required (the installation of extension cords and lamps) the drivers are provided with ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFI) breakers.
Education, Skills & Requirements:
• A high school diploma is preferred or equivalent GED
• Must be able to lift approximately 85 lbs
• Must have full range of motion and dexterity
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license
• Must be familiar with local roads and be able to read a road map
• Must be skilled in driving a truck with trailer and box truck
• Must consent to and pass Motor Vehicle Records report in accordance with Insurance policies
• Must possess customer relation skills
• Must maintain a professional personal appearance
• Must wear company logo uniform
• Must be able to use mathematics to solve problems
• Must be able to speak English clearly and write legibly. The ability to speak other languages is a plus
• Must be able to pass company drug screen
• Must maintain an acceptable attendance record
• Must have a full range of motion and dexterity
• Must be able to understand and complete instructions furnished in written, oral or scheduled form

Tent Installer
Nature of Work:
Responsible for the timely installation, safe use of tents and related equipment. Will help customers and delivery personnel load and unload vehicles. The work is typically very physical and demanding, both from strength requirements and the stamina required. Will also help maintain inventory. Shipping and receiving functions, from light to heavy, are also performed.
Working Conditions:
Must stand for long periods of time. The work will be split between general warehouse conditions, in which some work areas may not be heated or air conditioned and conditions outside which vary from day to day. Dispatch Manager
NATURE OF WORK:
The Dispatch Manager is responsible for managing and directing the Logistics department including deliveries, installations, pickups, dispatching, vehicle maintenance, and truck loading and unloading. The Dispatch Manager is responsible for ensuring that all deliveries and pickups are accomplished in a professional, cost effective, timely, and accurate manner. Additionally, this position is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, and quality control measures as established and set for the department. This position will also assist with other duties as instructed by management.
EDUCATION AND/ OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma; up to three years related experience or training; one year of supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Forecasts labor requirements based on future orders; breaks down workload into assignments and prioritizes and delegates assignments to staff.
• Monitors productivity and quality objectives.
• Manages and directs all dispatch, delivery and loading crews – to include hiring, training, supervising, instilling best operating practices, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining, and terminating.
• Develops and oversees methods and procedures for transportation of rental equipment and supplies from Company warehouses to Customers, other warehouses, or other storage facilities.
• Determines most efficient and economical routing and mode of transportation.
• Directs scheduling of deliveries and notification of concerned departments or customers of arrival dates and approximate times.
• Communicates with customers regarding delivery schedules, delivery problems and installation issues.
• Oversees the tracking of all DOT driver requirements such as driver mileage logs and reports/investigates all driver accidents to the Owner.
• Ensures company and leased delivery vehicles are inspected and serviced at proper intervals.
• Ensures all packing supplies and installation equipment is in stock.
• Develops and implements an effective process of selecting and training staff.
• Identifies and corrects communication errors between Sales, Warehouse, Logistics and Customers to improve Customer satisfaction.
• Coordinates timely scheduling of after-hours pickups and deliveries, as needed.
• Communicates relevant issues to Owner that need to be resolved.
• Initiates investigations into causes of damages or shortages in delivered or returned orders.
• Conducts studies in areas of packaging, warehousing, and loading and unloading of rental equipment and evaluates existing procedures and standards.
• Initiates changes designed to improve control and efficiency of Logistics Department.
• Follows all reporting procedures for safety violations and injuries.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations (including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment) in written or verbal form.
• Complies with company and government safety requirements and other regulations.
• Holds department meetings and attends other location meetings and safety meetings.
