Description

A high peak rope and pole tent takes its shape from center poles and tensioned rope rather than a rigid frame. That is why the roof sweeps up into peaks instead of sitting flat. It is also why the tent needs soil it can stake into. Our 40′ rope and pole tent rentals run from 40×40 up to 40×220 in white.

Count the peaks before you draw the floor plan

The tent gains one peak for every 20 feet of length. A center pole stands under each peak. So a 40×40 carries one, a 40×60 carries two, a 40×100 carries four, and a 40×220 carries ten. Those poles are the biggest thing to plan around, because they land on the centerline. Put the aisle, the dance floor or the buffet line between them rather than fighting them. Pole cover drapery softens how they read in photographs.

40×40, 40×60, 40×80, 40×100, 40×120, 40×140, 40×160, 40×180, 40×200 and 40×220. Length grows in 20-foot sections, so this tent scales further than most frame tents. That makes it the usual answer for a festival footprint or a long catering run.

Rope and pole or frame

Choose rope and pole for the look, the height and the reach in length. It also wants an open grass site. Choose a frame tent instead when the tent has to go on asphalt or concrete. What goes with it

Sidewalls close the perimeter once the sun drops. Lighting hangs from the poles and the ridge. Leveled flooring evens out a sloping field, and that is worth pricing early. It changes the crew time as much as the tent does.
