The Lit 72″ Round Table Rental is a six-foot illuminated round. It is the largest of the three lit rounds we carry. The light is part of the table rather than something you add to it. That one fact changes how the table gets used.

It goes out bare

A lit table is not draped. Put a cloth over it and you have covered the only thing that separates it from a standard round. So the linen line comes off the order for every lit table on the plan. That is a saving. It is also a decision. If the room needs color on the tables, an undraped lit round will not give it to you. A standard round with a full-length cloth will.

Centerpieces follow the same logic. Anything solid and wide blocks the light. So low arrangements, a tall narrow stand, or candles around the edge all work better than a broad low bowl.

Where the size makes sense

Six feet across is a dinner-sized round rather than an accent table. So this one belongs in a room where lit tables are the plan, not the accent. Rooms lit low suit it best. In a brightly lit hall a lit table reads as a white table with a glow. Evening receptions, late galas and after-parties all give it something to work against.

The smaller sizes cover the accent jobs. The Lit 48″ round works as a cake or escort table. The Lit 60″ round sits between the two. Mixing the three sizes reads better than a grid of identical tables. Our table rental range covers the standard rounds if only some tables are lit.

Two things are worth a call rather than a guess. First, tell us where the table will stand. Then we can confirm how it gets its light and what that position needs. Second, ask us to check this exact size against your date. Lit rounds move in smaller numbers than the plain ones.
