Description
The Portable Bar Skirted White is a six-foot bar with two tiers and a white skirt around the front. It travels in sections and sets up on site. That is what separates it from the built bars in our range.
Two tiers, and what each one is for
The top tier is the serving surface guests see and reach across. The lower tier sits behind it, out of their sightline. Bartenders use that second level for bottles and tools. So the front of the bar stays clear for glasses and hands.
That second tier does not replace a bar back. Ice, cases and recycling still need somewhere to go. So plan a table behind the bar as well. Otherwise the boxes end up on the floor beside it.
Why portable is sometimes the right choice
A portable bar earns its place on logistics rather than looks. It goes up and comes down fast. So it suits a room that has to turn over between a ceremony and a reception. It also suits a satellite bar that only runs for the first hour. A tight load-in is the third case, where a built bar cannot get through the door.
Because it packs down, it reaches positions a heavier bar cannot. A lawn, a rooftop, or an upper floor with a small elevator all count. The white skirt does a practical job as well as a visual one. It closes off the space under the bar, so kegs, crates and cabling stay hidden.
Where it fits against the rest of the range
If the bar is a focal point, a built bar with a decorative front serves you better. Our bar rental range covers those. The bar top is the piece to look at when you have a base already and need a surface. The same portable bar also comes with a black skirt, so compare the black version if a pale skirt will not suit the room.
One planning figure is worth keeping in mind. A common allowance is one bar position per 75 to 100 guests. Two shorter bars also clear a crowd faster than one long one. A six-foot portable bar is a single position, so busy events usually take more than one.
