  • 36″ 6 Burner Portable Range with Oven

    Description

Six open burners and an oven, in a 36-inch cabinet on casters. This 6 burner portable range rental is a Comstock Castle unit with a high back. It is the piece that turns a catering tent into a kitchen. The oven carries two racks, so a crew can hold and finish while they work the top.

What six burners actually buys you

Burner count decides how many things happen at once. For plated service that is the constraint that bites. A three-course dinner for a few hundred covers needs sauce, protein and vegetable work at the same time. It also needs a pot of water that never comes off. Six burners covers that. Fewer burners means the kitchen runs in sequence, and sequence is what makes service late.

Gas supply is the first question

The range is gas-fired, so tell us what your site has when you request it. A bottled propane supply and a house gas line are not the same hookup. The answer changes what has to come with the unit. Settle it before the event rather than on the morning of it. A range with no fuel is the most expensive thing that can go wrong in a temporary kitchen.

    Where it can go

Casters mean the range rolls. It is still a heavy piece of commercial equipment, and it wants a firm, flat path from the truck. Open flame belongs in a dedicated cook area with clearance around it, not in the guest tent. Under canvas that usually means a separate catering tent with the sides open. So talk to us and your caterer together, because the kitchen layout and the tent order have to agree.

Building the rest of the kitchen

A 6 burner portable range rental is normally one piece of a set. Convection ovens add baking and roasting capacity. Griddles handle volume breakfast and burger service. Chafers then hold finished food at temperature on the line.

    FAQ

It is best to call your local planning and zoning department to confirm, but typically private events on private property do not need them. If you are a business hosting an event on a business address then you traditionally do need a permit.

What is needed to reserve items?

We always try to accommodate last-minute requests, but during peak times this may be not possible. Reserving your tent in advance ensures that both inventory and delivery slots are set aside for you.

    • Be prepared to answer any calls from a number you do not recognize – this will be the delivery driver.
    • Provide alternate contact information in the event that we are unable to reach you for delivery.
    • If you have animals in the event area, please make sure that all animal feces have been picked up.
    • Make sure furniture is removed from the setup location before delivery.
    • Move vehicles so the crew has easy access to event space.
    • Contact 811 to locate any underground power, utility, or water lines. The customer is responsible for locating septic systems or irrigation lines.
    • Mark desired tent location with flags or paint or any object which would identify the placement of the tent.

A clearspan tent is a heavy-duty, engineered structure built with an aluminum frame and modular design. Unlike traditional frame tents, clearspan tents have no center poles or guy lines, offering a completely open interior space. They are designed to handle larger loads, longer spans, and more extreme weather conditions. Clearspan tents are commonly used for weddings, festivals, corporate events, and even temporary warehouses where strength, durability, and clear open space are essential.

Rope and Pole tents have center poles that may obstruct your view. Frame tents do not have center poles and are used frequently for wedding events that require an open view.
