Fifty feet is the widest clear span in our frame tent inventory. Ask about it when the floor plan has to hold several things at once. Round tables, a dance floor, a band and a bar all fit under a 50-foot width. The room then does not feel cut into strips. Our 50′ frame tent rentals come with a white top or a clear top, in lengths from 50×25 to 50×180.
Lengths and roof options
Lengths run 50×25, then 50×50 through 50×100 in five-foot steps. After that come 50×110, 50×120, 50×150 and 50×180. Most of those lengths come either way, white or clear. White vinyl holds the sun off and gives you a surface to light. Clear vinyl opens the roof up after dark. Tell us which you want when you check the date, because the two roofs are separate stock.
Why the wider span changes the floor plan
A 50-foot width lets you run two banks of tables with a real aisle between them. It also leaves depth for a stage without pushing the dance floor into the guests. Narrower tents force the same elements into a line. So on a large seated event, one 50 often works out easier to produce than two smaller tents joined with guttering. There is one install, one floor and one set of walls.
Install and power
The frame goes on grass, asphalt or concrete, staked into soil or held on weighted ballast. A tent this size usually brings a power conversation with it. Lighting, catering equipment and an air conditioning unit add up quickly. So a single generator with a spider box to distribute it is normally the tidier answer.
