Description

A grand chandelier rental is the fixture you hang when the light itself is the centerpiece. The 48-inch size is the smaller of the two we stock. A 60-inch version is also available. Both are single-point hangs, so the decision is about the room rather than the fixture. A 48 holds the middle of a tent bay. A 60 suits a longer span or a high ballroom ceiling.

Hanging it under a tent

A grand chandelier rental hangs from the tent frame or the ridge. The hang point gets set while the tent goes up. Retrofitting a hang after install is slow and sometimes impossible. So the fixture needs to be on the plan before the tent does. Give us the tent width and length. We will then work out where the fixture lands relative to the poles or the frame legs.

One fixture or a run of them

One chandelier centered over a dance floor gives the room a focal point. A run of them down the ridge of a long tent does something different. It marks the length of the space and gives every table a fixture overhead. For a run, the spacing matters more than the size. Evenly spaced smaller fixtures beat one large one hung off center.

Power and dimming

Each hang needs a circuit, and crystal fixtures reward a dimmer more than most. At full output the crystal glares. At half it sparkles, and the room reads warm. So put the chandelier circuit on a dimmer if the evening shifts from dinner service to dancing.

Handling and install time

Crystal fixtures take time to hang and time to strike, and they travel in cases. Build that into the install schedule. They do not go up as quickly as the walls do.
