  • Ellenwood Chair-Ivory

    Description

The Ellenwood chair is a wide lounge chair on a birch wood frame with ivory linen cushions. It measures about 37 inches wide, 31 inches deep and 32 inches tall. The open frame is part of the design. So the chair reads light in a room even though a guest sits deep in it.

Thirty-seven inches is wider than it sounds

Most lounge chairs sit closer to 30 inches across. An Ellenwood Chair Rental is wider than that. The guest gains room, and the floor plan loses it. Two chairs facing a coffee table need about nine feet before you add a walking lane. So count these chairs against the space rather than the guest list.

The trade is worth making where a lounge has to look generous with few pieces. Four wide chairs read as a finished seating group. Eight narrow ones read as a waiting room.

Ivory linen outdoors and under lights

Linen upholstery in ivory reflects whatever light you put on it. So the cushions pick up the color of a warm wash or a colored uplight. Under a white tent top in daylight they stay neutral. Because the cover is a light fabric, the chair belongs under cover rather than on open grass overnight. Dew and an afternoon shower both show. Tell us if the lounge sits outside. Then we can plan the set time so the pieces go out dry.

The rest of the Ellenwood group

The chair matches the other Ellenwood pieces, which is the reason to order it as a set. The three-person Ellenwood sofa carries the same frame and cushion. The Ellenwood coffee table sits in the middle. Then the Ellenwood end table gives the chair a surface of its own.

One planning note on mixing families. Back heights differ across our lounge groups. So a row that alternates two collections can look uneven from across a room. If you do want to mix, keep the families on separate sides of the lounge.

We hold fewer lounge pieces than chairs or tables. So ask early if these chairs have to be in the room. Add the Ellenwood chair to your quote request with your date and venue, and we will confirm what is open.

    FAQ

It is best to call your local planning and zoning department to confirm, but typically private events on private property do not need them. If you are a business hosting an event on a business address then you traditionally do need a permit.

Your irrigation lines must be marked before we arrive on site. You can call 811 for a free locate service of the major utility companies. They will only mark from the main line to the meter so it is your responsibility to know where lines run on your property. Most of the time we can avoid them if we know where they are.

Rope and Pole tents require an additional 14 feet to stake the tent (7′ on each side) so make sure you take this into consideration when determining the area where you wish to place the tent.

We always try to accommodate last-minute requests, but during peak times this may be not possible. Reserving your tent in advance ensures that both inventory and delivery slots are set aside for you.

We strongly prefer not to break down a tent with items still beneath it to ensure those items are not damaged. If asked to do so, we will not be liable for any damage to items left under the tent during breakdown. If we are unable to remove the tent around the items underneath it, we will have to leave and charge our customer for a return trip to retrieve the tent.

Our standard rental timeframe is approximately 3 or 4 days depending on the day of the event (delivery the business day before the event, pick up the business day after the event). We also offer long-term rental options for needs such as construction, renovation, natural disasters, etc.
