An underwater LED light rental is an 18-watt colour-changing spotlight built to sit in water. The body is stainless steel. The rating is IP68, which is the class for equipment meant to stay submerged rather than merely survive rain. So it goes in the pool or the pond, not beside it.
Where it earns its place
A pool with nothing in it turns into a black hole after dark. A black hole next to a party is both dull and a hazard. An underwater LED light rental fixes the dull part and helps with the other. Fountains, koi ponds, reflecting pools and water features all read differently once you light them from inside. Colour choice does a lot of work as well. The same pool can run warm white for a dinner and saturated for a late party.
How many to plan for
Count the separate bodies of water first. Then decide how even you want the light in each. One fixture in a small fountain is enough. A swimming pool usually wants several, so the light does not fall off into a dark end. Tell us the size of the water and we will talk the count through. Power, cable and safety
Each fixture needs power run to it. The cable route is the part people forget. Cable crossing a pool deck is a trip hazard, so it wants a cover or tape. Plan on the run coming from a protected outlet, and keep the connection out of standing water. If the site has no power near the water, that becomes a generator question rather than a lighting one.
What it pairs with
Uplights on the surrounding planting extend the effect past the water. Bistro strings overhead give the general light. Together those three layers cover a poolside event. Any one of them alone leaves half the site dark.
