Description
A white top frame tent gives you a shaded, pole-free floor on a 40-foot width. The aluminum frame carries the roof. So nothing lands in the middle of the space, and the layout inside is yours to decide. Our 40′ frame tent rentals run from 40×40 to 40×180. Length steps in five-foot increments through most of that range, because the roof is a run of sections.
Lengths we carry
40×40, 40×50, 40×55, 40×60, 40×65, 40×70, 40×75, 40×80, 40×85, 40×90, 40×95, 40×100. Then 40×105, 40×110, 40×115, 40×120, 40×130, 40×135, 40×140, 40×150 and 40×180. That five-foot granularity matters more than it sounds. A seated dinner needing one more row of tables usually needs one more section, not the next size up.
White top or clear top
White vinyl blocks the sun and holds heat out. So a white top is the better choice for a daytime event in a Georgia summer. It also gives you a surface to light. Uplights and pin spots read cleanly against a white roof, whereas a clear roof sends that light out into the sky. Choose clear instead when the event is at night and the view up is the point.
How the tent sits on your site
Frame tents go on grass, asphalt or concrete. The crew stakes into soil and uses weighted ballast on hard surfaces. Either way we need the perimeter clear by a few feet beyond the footprint. Overhead clearance matters too, since the frame goes up in sections. Trees and power lines limit where the run can go. So walk the site with a tape measure before you settle on a length.
Common additions
Sidewalls, a pleated liner, leveled flooring and lighting all attach to the frame. So does tent-to-tent guttering when two structures sit side by side. Decide on those before install day rather than during it.
