  • Supporting Utility Crews After Hurricane Isaias

When Hurricane Isaias came ashore near Destin in October 2026, hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses across the Florida Panhandle lost power. Utility crews poured into the affected areas, working long shifts to restore electricity to homes and businesses.

Those crews needed somewhere to eat, rest, and get out of the weather between shifts. That’s where T3 Event Rentals came in.

William, Casey, and several of our guys headed to the Florida Panhandle, spending nearly a week on-site building and supporting a climate-controlled base camp for the linemen working to restore power.

The setup included a 60-by-100-foot rope-and-pole tent, a 20-by-50-foot frame tent, tables and seating for hundreds, and lighting. Five air conditioning units kept the tents cool: three 25-ton and two 5-ton. Three generators powered the camp: a 1,400-amp unit, a 100 kW and a 25 kW. Together, these provided a place where crews could sit down for a meal, cool off, and recharge before returning to work.

We brought more AC and power than the camp ended up using. When the site is six to eight hours from the warehouse, there is no running back for one more unit.

Our team handled the tent installations and equipment setup, working on-site to get the facilities ready for the crews who needed them.

Disaster recovery doesn’t leave much room for delays. With thousands of people waiting for their electricity to come back on, every part of the response matters, including the facilities supporting the people doing the work.

We’re proud of William, Casey, and the rest of our crew for the time and effort they put into this project. While the linemen worked to get the lights back on, our guys helped make sure they had a place to come back to.
