  • 40′ Clear Top Frame Tents

    Description

A clear top frame tent rental puts a transparent vinyl roof over an open floor. No center poles land inside it. T3 installs ours on a 40-foot width, in lengths from 40×40 up to 40×120. Width is the fixed part of a frame tent, while length is not, because the roof builds up from sections. So the first question to settle is how wide the space needs to be.

Clear top frame tent rental lengths on the 40-foot width

We carry 40×40, 40×50, 40×55, 40×60, 40×65, 40×70, 40×75, 40×80, 40×90, 40×110 and 40×120. Longer runs come from adding sections. Ask us if the length you want sits between two of those, since the answer is usually yes.

When a clear roof is the right call

Choose a clear roof for an evening event. Once the sun drops, the sky and the tree canopy above the tent become part of the room. Under midday sun, though, a clear roof heats the space quickly. It then wants cooling to stay comfortable. Clear top frame tent rentals therefore pair with an air conditioning unit more often than white tops do. A skylight roof is the middle option. Clear bays sit among white ones, so you get some of the effect with less solar load.

    Anchoring, surfaces and site access

Frame tents install on grass, asphalt or concrete. On soil the crew stakes the frame. On a hard surface the tent goes down on weighted ballast instead. Tell us the surface early, because ballast needs more perimeter room than stakes do. That changes how the tent fits the site. Our crew also needs a path wide enough to walk frame sections in.

What goes with a clear top tent

Sidewalls close the perimeter once the sun drops, and they cut the breeze running through the tent. Clear walls keep the open feel that the roof is there for. Leveled tent flooring gives you a flat floor when the ground is not. Lighting hangs from the frame itself. So decide on chandeliers or bistro strings before the tent goes up rather than after.

Tell us the date, the guest count, the surface and whether the site has power. A person from our team then works the sizing through with you. T3 delivers and installs across Alpharetta, Metro Atlanta and North Georgia.

    FAQ

The stakes will be between 24”-42” long depending on the size of the tent.

We use a calculator that helps us to factor in miles driven, number of people in the truck and miles per gallon of gasoline. Our standard delivery fees cover a weekday delivery and pickup during normal delivery hours of 7am-3:30pm. We charge additional fees for deliveries outside of our delivery hours or when the crew must work longer than 8 hours and require overtime pay. Weekend deliveries or pickups also incur additional charges.

Rope and Pole tents have center poles that may obstruct your view. Frame tents do not have center poles and are used frequently for wedding events that require an open view.

We make every effort to clearly understand the delivery site to ensure a speedy but safe delivery of your rental items. We will assess an additional charge upon arrival if obstacles to delivery were not disclosed during the reservation process. Sometimes, items can be delivered at the truck’s location and customer is then responsible to transport items to the setup site and return them to same delivery location for our pickup.

You are welcome to hang your own lights, but it is your responsibility to remove all items that do not belong to T3 from the tent before the scheduled pickup date/time. It’s also your responsibility for any damage to the tent while hanging/removing your items. If we arrive and items are still attached to the tent, we will have to leave and charge for a return trip to retrieve the tent once the hanging items are removed.

    • Be prepared to answer any calls from a number you do not recognize – this will be the delivery driver.
    • Provide alternate contact information in the event that we are unable to reach you for delivery.
    • If you have animals in the event area, please make sure that all animal feces have been picked up.
    • Make sure furniture is removed from the setup location before delivery.
    • Move vehicles so the crew has easy access to event space.
    • Contact 811 to locate any underground power, utility, or water lines. The customer is responsible for locating septic systems or irrigation lines.
    • Mark desired tent location with flags or paint or any object which would identify the placement of the tent.
