  • LED Lit Portable Vanity

    Description

The portable LED vanity rental is a road case that opens into a makeup station. The case measures 23 by 27 by 6 inches. It rolls on wheels and has a pull handle. Unlocking the lid gives you an 18 by 22 inch mirror with light around it. The light dims and adjusts for colour temperature, and there is an outlet with USB charging built in.

Why the colour temperature control matters

Makeup applied under the wrong colour of light looks wrong on camera. That is the problem this fixture solves. A warm bulb in a hotel bathroom and a daylight-balanced set are two different environments. So a station you can match to the shoot saves a correction later. Dimming does the same job at the other end. An artist working at close range does not want full output in their subject’s eyes.

    Where it goes

A portable LED vanity rental is built for locations without a dressing room. Film and television base camps use them. So do commercial shoots, pageants, bridal suites with no usable mirror, and backstage areas at corporate events. Because the case rolls and closes, it moves between positions during a day. Set it on a table at working height, since the case opens from the top.

Setting up a row of stations

We carry these in quantity. So a production that needs four or six stations in a holding room is a normal ask. Plan a table and a chair per station, power to each position, and a clothing rack nearby. The room then works as a unit instead of a collection of mirrors.

    Power

Each station needs an outlet. On a base camp that usually means distribution from a generator rather than a wall socket. So count the vanities in the power plan alongside the lighting and the HVAC.

    FAQ

We strongly prefer not to break down a tent with items still beneath it to ensure those items are not damaged. If asked to do so, we will not be liable for any damage to items left under the tent during breakdown. If we are unable to remove the tent around the items underneath it, we will have to leave and charge our customer for a return trip to retrieve the tent.

We always try to accommodate last-minute requests, but during peak times this may be not possible. Reserving your tent in advance ensures that both inventory and delivery slots are set aside for you.

Please rinse food debris off plateware and flatware before return to make the cleaning process easier when it returns.

Rope and Pole tents require an additional 14 feet to stake the tent (7′ on each side) so make sure you take this into consideration when determining the area where you wish to place the tent.

Please return items to the same location and configuration as when we dropped them off. For tables, the legs are folded and multiple tables stacked together. For chairs, please have them folded and stacked.

We can accommodate the smallest event in a 10 x 10 or go as large as a 60 x 230. Larger tents are available as well as structure tents. We can put multiple tents together to make a larger space – call and ask for more information to suit your needs.
