  • Liner 40X120 – Hip Ends

    Description

Hip ends slope inward from the ridge instead of finishing in a flat vertical wall. A 40×120 hip end liner rental follows that shape. It covers the two sloped ends of the tent. A roof liner on its own stops at the ridge line, so the ends stay bare vinyl unless the hip pieces go in with it.

    What this size fits

This liner suits a 40×120 frame tent with hip ends. Liners are cut to a tent and do not adjust on site. So the dimensions and the end style both have to match. A 40×120 hip end liner rental will not hang on a gable-ended tent, and it will not stretch to a 40×140. We stock a 40×140 hip end liner for that run instead.

    Hip ends or gable ends

The two are not interchangeable, and the choice changes the room. Hip ends give the tent a softer profile from outside. They also shed water off the corners. Gable ends give you a full-height vertical face at each end. That is the better surface for a stage, a head table or a backdrop. So pick hip ends when the silhouette matters, and gable ends when something goes against the end wall.

    Lining a long tent

A 40×120 is a long run. An unlined ceiling reads as a corridor of seams down its whole length. Lining it does more here than in a short tent, because the eye follows the length of the space. Plan the lighting at the same time. Fixtures hang below the liner, so every hang point gets set while the tent goes up.

    Leg drapes are separate

Leg drapes are not included unless you specify them. On a 120-foot run there are a lot of legs. So this is the size where leaving them off shows most.

    FAQ

Unfortunately, planning an outdoor event is difficult due to the uncertainty of the weather, but if we deliver products, we expect payment in full. Please keep in mind that tents are temporary structures and are not to be used as storm-shelters. We recommend that every outdoor event has an evacuation plan in place prior to the event.

Absolutely! Someone responsible needs to be able to receive the items upon delivery. We will go over the list with you and make sure that all items are accounted for and have you sign our paperwork agreeing you received all items.

We understand things happen. If equipment is lost while in your possession, you will be responsible for replacement cost of that item.

Larger items and items that need tools to install do include setup and breakdown. This includes tents and tent accessories (lighting, drapery, etc.) and staging and flooring. The set up and break down of tables and chairs is the responsibility of the customer unless previously arranged for an additional charge.

Your irrigation lines must be marked before we arrive on site. You can call 811 for a free locate service of the major utility companies. They will only mark from the main line to the meter so it is your responsibility to know where lines run on your property. Most of the time we can avoid them if we know where they are.

Not always. If we are unable to stake the tent, we will use concrete blocks to safely secure the tent.
